A molded and carved mahogany armchair, the openwork back decorated with a band, the armrests in the form of baluster columns, resting on tapered front legs and saber-shaped back legs, green leather upholstery, stamped under the belt JACOB.FRERES/RUE MESLEE; the two back posts partly replaced and a central crosspiece missing under the seat. Around 1800. H : 95 - W : 57 - D : 52 cm The stamp Jacob Frères rue Meslée was used by François-Honoré-Georges and Georges II Jacob, between 1796 and 1803 Provenance : Jean-Louis Remilleux Collection.
