Full contemporary calf, gilt arms in the centre of the boards, spine gilt, tan morocco title-pieces and black morocco tomes. A copy bearing the arms of Paul d'Albert de Luynes (1703-1788), bishop of Bayeux, then archbishop of Sens and cardinal.
Label stuck on the title page: Ex-libris Richer. Handwritten bookplate on the back of the flyleaf: Cte Alphonse de la Guère. Prize book label pasted on the spine of the false title, from the Collège Senonensi.
