Full contemporary havana calf, gilt arms in the centre of the boards, triple gilt fillet in the frame, spine ribbed and decorated, red morocco title-piece and brown morocco tome. An engraved title repeated at the head of each of the two volumes and three other titles richly decorated by J. B. Scotin. Work gathering eglogues and mixed pieces, odes, poems, with reflections on the Ode, & Discourses on various moral and religious matters. >Binding with the arms of the Duchess de Noailles. Absent from the O.H.R. Manuscript bookplate pasted on the upper counterfoil: Ex-Bibli. de Mr de Beaumont. One corner dulled, small rubs to the headpieces.
