Dictionnaire de la langue françoise, ancienne et moderne. Paris, Jacques Estienne, 1728. 3 vol. in-folio. Full contemporary calf, gilt arms on the boards, spine decorated with the irons of the coat of arms, red morocco title and tomes.
>Copy with unidentified arms, bearing the motto repeated at the foot of the spine: "Haec. me. signa. vocant".
Handwritten bookplate on the false title: "Pierre-Paul Lurier, 1875", on the title page: "Madame de Vertot".
Poor restoration on a box, dull corners, worn condition, accident to some headpieces, important wetness at the end of volume III. Damage to the spine of volume II.
