Pendulum to be set in marquetry known as "Boulle" in red tinted tortoiseshell, brass and pewter; the pediment decorated with fire pots with angel decoration presenting a vase in an environment of foliage; the door framed by pilasters with Corinthian capitals; small gadrooned feet; the dial with twenty-five enamelled plates indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals in increments of five; the movement signed "J. Thuret à Paris". Louis XIV period (Brocot suspension; small lifts). H: 60.5 - W: 32 - D: 15 cm.
