CHINE A large porcelain vase of baluster form decorated in famille rose enamels with branches of peonies alternating with flowering prunus, camellias and chrysanthemums, with birds in four cartouches surrounded by scrolls on a ruby background embellished with flowers; the neck the same. The shoulder and pedestal decorated with chimeras on a turquoise background separated by insects and flowers in reserves. On the reverse, Qianlong mark in iron red in Zhuanshou.
