HENRI V, duc de Bordeaux puis comte de CHAMBORD (1820-1883) prétendant légitime au trône de France. L.A.S. and 3 P.A.S. Goritz 26 May 1840, to Mme Sophie de Beaujeu, thanking her for a medallion which he will keep "preciously in memory of her whose virtues it reminds me of". 3 pieces of dedication with red wax seal, to the Marquis de Cherville, to Mlle Henriette de Villiers, to the Countess de Pontbellanger (Brunsee 29 September 1855, with envelope). Plus an autogr. envelope to Paul Andral. Attached is a coloured engraving of the château de Chambord, 3 portraits, and a facsimile card of the countess. Plus an engraved portrait of the Count of Artois, the future CHARLES X, with the pasted signatures of "Charles Philippe" and his wife Marie-Thérèse;
