RUAR, Martin. Epistolarum selectarum centuria. Amsterdam, Davidem Ruarum, 1677. 1 vol. in-8. Contemporary calf, gilt arms in the centre of the boards, spine gilt, title-piece (brought back later), gilt numeral in the caissons. > Copy of Jérôme Bignon (Anjou), second of the name, avocat général at the Parlement de Paris. He succeeded his father as grand master of the King's library. Handwritten bookplate on the back of the flyleaf: Alphonse de la Guère. O.H.R. pl. 868, n°1. Binding damaged: the headpieces are missing, the spines cracked.
