BOURGES. 8 letters or documents, 17th century. 2 P.S. on vellum with seal of arms under paper by the abbesses of "labbaye Monsieur Sainct Laurent" (Benedictines) for the office of bailiff of their lands of Verneuil and Souligny: Catherine de Chazeron (1601); Jehanne d'Anlezy, with the prioress Jacqueline Duperac, and Jehanne de La Porte, Françoise de La Terrasserie and Barbe de La Garde, "seigneurs" of the abbey 5 L.A.S. addressed to the dean and canons of the chapter of the cathedral church of Bourges, 1633-1635, by lawyers and law officers, concerning a lawsuit for the privileges of their church and the service of the Sainte Chapelle. Copy of a ruling of the Court of Mint against the masters of the Bourges mint (1654).
