A rare sardony CAMEUS with a high relief bust of an emperor wearing a toga held by a fibula in umbilicus; the reliefs partially turquoise. Probably Florentine work from the late 16th or early 17th century (tiny chip to be reattached; a hair on the reverse). H : 8,5 - W : 7 cm It is presented in a 17th century case lined with coral velvet and sheathed in brown leather decorated with small irons. Dim. : 13 x 11,5 cm
