CHINE Rectangular tea box in black lacquered and gilded wood decorated with scenes of palaces surrounded by dragons in search of the sacred pearl. The lid uncovers two pewter tea compartments engraved with carved ivory button flowers. Canton work from the second half of the 19th century. Dim.: 10x20,5x16 cm (an elat at an angle at the back of the box)
