Then in 1226 a community of monks developed there, who were maintained by Gui 1er de Lévis and became canons regular of Saint-Augustin. The Levis-Mirepoix were important patrons and benefactors of this Abbey. Joint: Extracts from a genealogical work on the nobility of Maine ... This work, which is a manuscript in-folio entitled on the back: Genealogy of the House of Asse, was bought in Lyon by Mr le Duc de Luynes in 1859.
