A L'ESCALIER DE CRISTAL (Veuve Desarnaud Palais Royal) A cast crystal and bronze clock, finely chased and gilded or burnished, in the form of a lyre surmounted by a mascaron of Phebus; the uprights with swan necks; quadrangular base with a frieze of palmettes; small feet with rosettes; the dial indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in graduations. Charles X period. H. : 50 cm (a crack at the back of the base ; the numbers of the dial are retraced)
