Total diameter: 9.3 cm.

Thomas Compigné, Tabletier privilégié du roi Louis XV, established the "Roi David" shop on rue Greneta, and sold "boxes, tric-trac, checkers and chess accessories, snuffboxes and cane knobs or landscape miniatures".
His specialty was small paintings in pewter, stamped and enhanced with gold, then gouache and varnish, which took the name "Compigné".
