It was built in the workshops of Chalais for the Ministry of War. On August 9, 1884, in collaboration with Charles Renard, Arthur Constantin Krebs pilots the first fully controllable machine for a journey of eight kilometers, completed in twenty-three minutes, the first closed circuit flight in the world, the balloon landing at its starting point.
