Full Empire green morocco, cold framing on the boards, spine decorated with nerfs, gilt author and title, red morocco lining, framed with cold and gilt fillets and cold fleurons at the corners, gilt edges, covers and spine kept [CH. MEUNIER - 1910]. 16 illustrations by Edmond Malassis engraved in colors by Louis Mortier; 8 decorative motifs engraved on wood. Limited edition of 170 numbered copies; this one is one of 150 on vellum. A portrait of the two authors, engraved in intaglio by Le Nain, pasted on one of the preliminary leaves. A copy bound in doubled morocco signed by Charles Meunier. Slight rubbing to the headbands, nerves, spines and corners.
